Jim Paul is a Shareholder in the office of Ogletree Deakins, an international labor and employment law firm. Jim has extensive experience in handling labor and employment law litigation in federal and state courts, and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, the Department of Justice, and several state agencies. Jim is a previous Co-Chair for the American Bar Association’s FMLA Subcommittee and current Co-Editor of Bloomberg BNA’s The Family and Medical Leave Act treatise, covering the legal requirements and developments under the FMLA. Jim holds a Labor Relations and Economics degrees from Saint Louis University and his law degree from Washington University. Since 2010, he has been named in the annual editions of The Best Lawyers in America and named in Super Lawyers Magazine since 2008. He currently serves as the Vice-Director on the Missouri State Council of SHRM, previously serving as President of the St. Louis, Missouri local SHRM chapter.
