Ivelisse Josefina Berio LeBeau is a partner at Sugarman & Susskind in Miami, Florida, where her practice focuses on ERISA compliance and litigation. She was previously a trial attorney in the Solicitor’s Office of the U.S. Department of Labor in Boston, where she brought ERISA enforcement actions in federal court and assisted with investigations of employee benefit plans conducted by the DOL’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (“EBSA”). Ms. Berio LeBeau is Editor-in-Chief of the forthcoming legal treatise Employee Benefits Law, 4th edition, and was co-editor of Employee Benefits Law, 3rd edition, published in 2012. She is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Mount Holyoke College.
