Shelley Carthen Watson is Senior Associate General Counsel in the University of Minnesota Office of the General Counsel. Ms. Carthen Watson regularly provides advice, counsel, and training in labor relations and employment issues, collective bargaining and internal grievance arbitrations, and administrative matters before the EEOC, Minnesota Department of Human Rights and Department of Labor. Previously, Ms. Carthen Watson was a partner at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi and also served as the Deputy Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Rights. Ms. Carthen Watson is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law.
