When the country all but shut down in March 2020, much of the overall workforce transitioned into a remote environment. Although challenging at first, office professionals seemed to ease into “the new normal” and adjusted well to a different way of working. What was not anticipated, however, is that this new arrangement may ultimately be a permanent part of our reality.
In this practical webinar, you will examine how to assess and balance the risks of remote work outside of the security confines of your organization’s network. You will also discuss some of the key steps you can take to reduce risks for your clients and your organization.
Upon course completion, you will be able to:
- Identify the key policies and security steps that should be implemented to protect your clients and organization
- Explain the importance of security awareness training to protect clients and organization
- Protect your communications using best practices and strategies
- Identify key technical items that can improve security for a remote workforce
This program is eligible for CLE, HRCI, SHRM, and Management credit. Please check the Credits tab prior to enrolling to confirm that the course has been pre-approved for credit in your state.
