Even before COVID-19, teams were increasingly made up of people who worked apart from each other. How do you create a team that is productive, trusting, and communicates effectively when separated by time zones and distance? What does it take to lead a remote or virtual team?

In this practical webinar, you will examine three strategic models to help create a remote leadership mindset. You will also explore how you can apply the evergreen skills of leadership to this new, unfamiliar environment.

Upon course completion, you will be able to:

  • Identify the common challenges of remote teams
  • Utilize three models that help guide remote leadership
  • Identify how leading at distance is different from, and how it is the same as, leading in a full office environment
  • Build trust within your workforce by implementing the best components of trust for remote teams
  • Select the best technology for the appropriate communication challenge on your team
  • Lead hybrid teams, where some employees are working in a central office location and other employees are working remote
  • Create an effective action plan for managing your remote team

This course is eligible for HR credit.

Can I ask questions during the webinar?

Yes. During the live webinar, you may submit questions and comments and the speaker will respond verbally. For a recorded webinar, your questions will be emailed to the speaker. You will typically receive a response from the speaker within two business days.

Can I attend using a tablet or smartphone?

Yes. You may attend a webinar using a computer, tablet or smartphone.

If I can’t attend a webinar live, can I view the recording later?

What is an on-demand webinar?
