The last few weeks have seen seismic shifts in the COVID-19 workplace safety landscape. Below is a state-by-state summary of some of the most important changes (and continued requirements):
On May 21, 2021, Washington Governor, Jay Inslee issued Proclamation 20-25.13, lifting the mask and social distancing mandate for fully vaccinated individuals.
Under Proclamation 20-25.13, a fully vaccinated employee may work without a face covering only after the employee has provided either:
proof of vaccination to the employer; or
a signed document attesting to the employee’s fully vaccinated status.
Employers may require all employees to wear a face covering regardless of vaccination status.
