COVID-19 SAFE WORKPLACE TRAINING

Virginia Update

September 7, 2021

The last few weeks have seen seismic shifts in the COVID-19 workplace safety landscape. Below is a state-by-state summary of some of the most important changes (and continued requirements):

On August 26, 2021, the Virginia Safety and Health Board adopted as final, revised amendments to the VOSH Standard for Infectious Disease Prevention of the SARS-CoV-2-Virus.

The revised amendments to the VOSH Standard were sent to the Governor for review on August 30, 2021.

The revised amendments to the VOSH Standard are effective upon the Governor’s approval, and if no revisions are requested, filing with the Registrar of Regulations and publication in a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Richmond, Virginia.
