The last few weeks have seen seismic shifts in the COVID-19 workplace safety landscape. Below is a state-by-state summary of some of the most important changes (and continued requirements):

On May 14, 2021, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper issued Executive Order No. 215 lifting the state’s mask mandate for most indoor spaces.

The Order also provides that private businesses are not prohibited from requiring face coverings for employees or guests unless an exception applies for that individual.
