COVID-19 SAFE WORKPLACE TRAINING

Illinois Update

June 15, 2021

The last few weeks have seen seismic shifts in the COVID-19 workplace safety landscape. Below is a state-by-state summary of some of the most important changes (and continued requirements):

On June 11, 2021, Illinois moved to Phase 5. All business guidelines provided by the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity are discontinued. As result, the state’s COVID-19 business opening requirements are no longer effective, including the face coverings, social distancing, and employee training.

Additionally, Illinois lifted its outdoor mask requirement consistent with CDC guidance.
