COVID-19 SAFE WORKPLACE TRAINING

D.C. Update

February 14, 2022

The last few weeks have seen seismic shifts in the COVID-19 workplace safety landscape. Below is a state-by-state summary of some of the most important changes (and continued requirements):

On February 14, 2022, Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser issued an order regarding COVID restrictions for indoor spaces. The order immediately repealed the vaccination requirement for entry to private facilities such as gyms and bars, though it allows businesses to implement their own such requirements if they choose. It also ended the indoor mask requirement for most locations, effective February 28, 2022. Masks are now only required to enter certain government buildings, schools and childcare centers, congregate and healthcare facilities, and public transit. Again, private businesses may impose their own restrictions on customers and employees at their own discretion.
