COVID-19 Safe Workplace training

Oregon COVID-19 Workplace Safety Training

Oregon OSHA adopted COVID-19 Temporary Rules requiring nearly all employers to provide COVID-19 training no later than December 21, 2020.

COVID-19 training can be provided remotely or using computer-based models but must be provided in a manner and language understood by employees. Employers must also ensure “the training provides an opportunity for feedback from employees about the topics covered in the training.”

The required workplace safety training must include topics relating to methods of transmission, coronavirus symptoms, social distancing, face coverings, and cleaning protocols, as well as other state-specific workplace safety information.
