Gender Gap: How Men and Women Speak and Listen Differently (2-part series) – On-Demand

Original Recording Date: August 2nd, 2016
Duration: 75 minutes

A growing number of studies demonstrate that most men and women can have different styles of managing, speaking, and listening, and as importantly, how men and women can act and speak identically as still be perceived by others quite differently. In this practical two-part webinar you’ll learn how gender affects management and communication and how you can use this information to improve your workplace. You’ll receive dozens of practical tools and tips to use in your daily life and work. Among other things, you’ll learn answers to the following questions:

  • How can you best avoid and defuse gender conflicts in the office?
  • Why do many communication styles turn off customers and clients of the opposite sex?
  • How can you use your own “gender style” to your advantage? What should you particularly avoid?
  • How can men and women act differently both as supervisors (partners) and employees (associates), and how can you make that work effectively in your own career?

This two-part series will take place on August 2nd and August 3rd from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM, ET, each day.
